Forgive me if somebody brought this up in the past , and I mentioned this point of view in a comment before , but , has anybody ever questioned the morality of ragnarok ? Odin was a tyrant , and kept the dwarves under his thumb . Did everything for himself . He was evil . That’s a given . However - by inciting ragnarok , Kratos and company virtually brought death upon millions of people … people that were sleeping . Eating . Drinking . Hunting . Or whatever they were doing. The realm of Asgard we see is only a small portion of Asgard . The ENTIRE REALM was destroyed . Not just the part beyond Asgard’s wall where the gods and company were . ALL OF IT . Kratos said he didn’t come to sacrifice the innocent - but that’s exactly what they came for . Bringing surtr to Asgard , following that portion of the prophecy - is essentially dropping nuke after nuke without a care . Sure they saved the “ new midardians “ and some of the Asgardians … but 98 percent of their population was wiped out … what do you guys think about this ?
